Mässkär Lotsstation is a sea-, archipelago-, and nature-oriented organization. The association maintains the former pilot station on Mässkär open to the public and collects and shares knowledge about maritime activities, archipelago life, and the natural environment in all their forms. Over the years, the association has renovated the station, gathered knowledge about traditional navigation methods, and established a 1.4 km long nature trail with information displays.

The association’s members work on a voluntary basis, and the restaurant and guest harbor at the nature station are expected to cover operational costs. Membership fees play an important role for the association.

Individuals who actively contribute to the association’s goals may apply for membership. Applications are submitted to the board.

Anyone can become a supporting member by paying the supporting membership fee to the association, for example via the attached link.
